At St. Barnabas, we recognize that both body and spirit need to be nourished so that God's purpose may be fulfilled in our lives. Exercise classes of all levels are offered during the week to help our church family achieve their fitness goals.


Adult Open Gym

Tuesday and Friday | 6:00-8:00 a.m. | Family Life Center Gym

Tuesday | 7:00-9:00 p.m. | Family Life Center Gym

The Gym is open for adult basketball for early risers on Tuesdays and Fridays and after work on Tuesday to "destress."


Adult Co-Ed Volleyball

Mondays | 7:00-9:00 p.m. | Family Life Center Gym

All adults are welcome to participate; there's no cost. Consider inviting a friend to join you . . . it's a fun, no-pressure way to introduce someone to the life and mission of St. Barnabas! 


Matter of Balance

This free, evidenced-based program is designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. Check the church calendar for the next scheduled session.


Medium Aerobics

M-W-F | 9:00 a.m. | Barnabas Hall

This morning wellness group meets three times a week for stretching and exercise.


Tai Chi

Saturday | 11:00 a.m. | Atrium

Participants learn the ancient art of stretching, meditation and breathing.


Walking Track

Monday-Friday | 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. | Upstairs in the Family Life Center

Our walking track is open to everyone.


Yoga

Tuesday and Thursday |10:15-11:15 a.m. | Barnabas Hall

Thursday | 5:30-6:30  p.m. | Barnabas Hall

This class incorporates flowing sequences (Vinyasa), long-held postures (Asanas) and deep stretches (Restorative) resulting in improved flexibility, increased joint mobility and better balance. Please bring your yoga mat and water. A small bolster/blanket for padding and yoga block are optional. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled.
