how to volunteer

“Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, to all the people you can.”

                                                                                                   John Wesley

One of the best ways to grow in our faith is to serve. As each of us chooses to use our unique gifts to serve — in the church, in our communities and city and around the world — our belief is that this service changes the lives of those who serve, of those who are served and also for those who notice the service and are moved to serve others. There's room for all of us. Growth happens when we selflessly serve. So serve; you're invited!

serve in the church

Over 75 people serve at St. Barnabas every Sunday leading children and teens, greeting and ushering, in music and production ministry, and in many other ways to help people connect with God and each other. That doesn’t count other care and service ministries around the church both on Sunday and throughout the week.

All those wishing to volunteer in any capacity at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church must be MinistrySafe approved. Learn more here.
